After traveling the world in search of the most extraordinary raw materials, Gian Luca Perris found the inspiration in the seductive rural landscapes of southern Italy, creating Rencia di Sicily In 2019. An olfactory jewel of Italy, the most iconic citrus of Sicily: Sanguine orange.
Cultivated on the slopes of Mount Etna, the fruit that grows there stands out for its intense red color and its aromatic sweetness, with which an exceptional oil occurs. Sanguine orange is Sicily's most emblematic citrus. From a freshness without equal, for all lovers of nature, with a cheerful and authentic character.
Since 1980, a family business has highlighted for being the main producer of citrus essential oils. Through 2 methods of extraction, Capua brings to life the pure essence of this sweet orange. With the first method, the brown essential oil is extracted from the shell without coming into contact with the fruit juice that will be used for beverages. The second extraction method is applied at the end of the culture station. The complete fruit is passed through a press that mixes the oil from the shell with the juice. Then the pulp juice is separated and finally centrifuged to separate the juice oil.
After this complex and technical process, these 2 different essential oils merge into Rencia di Sicily of PERRIS MONTE CARLO. A tribute to the fruity symbol of Sicily.
The heart of the essence is wide with almond, vanilla and cinnamon followed by basic notes that reveal a gentle musk and amber and finally the intense aroma of the absolute coffee.
