The top notes open like a spicy and aromatic whisper: tarragon unfolds its aniseed greenness, almost ethereal, blending with the wild, herbal note of artemisia. Angelica, with its earthy and slightly musky freshness, balances the initial intensity, offering a luminous introduction to a journey that soon becomes denser and deeper.

Floral opulence throbs in the heart of ORO. Casablanca lily reveals itself in all its narcotic splendor, enveloped by exotic frangipani, which adds a tropical and solar note. But it is styrax, with its smoky and resinous profile, that begins to point the way toward the occult and the mystical, as if the flowers were dissolving into smoke during an ancient ritual.

This perfume is the first in MORESQUE's history to use vulcanized raw materials, treated through a pyrogenic process that transforms the essential oils with the direct action of heat. This treatment gives life to unique accords: denser incense, deeper resins, creamier woods. The sensation is that of being in the presence of a living substance marked by fire.

The base of ORO is a resinous ode to the sacred. Myrrh, ancient and mysterious, contributes its balsamic and mineral duality. Vulcanized incense adds an arcane character, like sacred smoke in a forgotten temple. Ambrette seeds bring musky sensuality with a slightly fruity twist, while white musk polishes the whole with velvety softness.

But it is labdanum that takes center stage in this finale. Extracted from the rock rose when the sun burns most intensely, its resin becomes thick, dense, almost mystical. Its aroma is reminiscent of leather, amber, and warm skin. The labdanum in ORO is not just an ingredient, it is an emblem: the very soul of the perfume that burns and lingers.
