The vetiver is a herb whose roots hide one of the most complex oils in the world. While the industry is usually preferred by Haiti's vetiver by its soft and bright profile, Gian Luca Perris decided to pay tribute to the Vetiver of Java, a variety that grows in the rich volcanic soils of Indonesia. Its profile is much more indomitable, dark and roasted, evoking the mystery of a dense forest after the passage of a fire storm.

Expert tips: the art of perfumer

Prolong citrus effervescence: Timur pepper and grapefruit are highly volatile molecules. If you want the feeling of "sparkling grapefruit" to keep it along with the smoked vetiver for hours, vaporizes a slight mist on the tissue of your garments (cotton shirt or flax shirts). The cold tissue encapsulates citrus, preventing body heat from evaporates quickly.

Tomping smoke (thermal management:) Java Vetiver can show very dark facets and almost to burned leather if exposed to extreme body heat.
