CREATION AND MANUFACTURE OF NICOLAÏ FRAGANCE:

  1. Creation of the fragrance: Patricia de Nicolaï creates all the fragrances in her own Parisian laboratory. Each formula is kept secret by the perfumer.
  2. Purchase of raw materials: Patricia de Nicolaï is always looking for the best raw materials, natural and their selection.
  3. Weight of the formulas: each weight of a concentrate is made with great precision to maintain the same fragrance quality over time.
  4. Maceration: all the maceration is carried out in a refrigerated chamber at constant temperature for 2 weeks
  5. 5 Alcohol Blend: Each concentrate is diluted with alcohol for a very precise purpose. The product then remains for 1 to 4 weeks for a second maceration.
  6. Ice Cream and Filtering Process: These are the final steps in the preparation of a fragrance. It allows to eliminate the last impurities
  7. Conditioning: all components (pumps, caps, labels, etc.) are purchased from the best sources, often large companies located in France, in order to maintain the “made in France” trademark. Most of the finishing process is handmade.

NICOLAÏ BOUTIQUES

NICOLAÏ is the only niche brand perfumery that has 7 of its own boutiques in Paris, all located in prestigious locations (Trocadero, Louvre, Marais ...)

It also has 2 stores in London, one in Dubai and one in Shanghai.

TIPS FROM PATRICIA TO PERFUME YOURSELF:

  • How to perfume yourself?

Directly on the skin. In fact, it is the warmth of the skin that best reveals a fragrance. For those with sensitive skin, it is recommended to perfume their clothes or even their hair.

  • Where to perfume?

Everywhere you want to be kissed!

  • When to perfume?

There are fragrances for the night (more sophisticated) and fragrances to use in daily life (fresher and tonic. Most of the time, fragrances feel differently according to the seasons. Why? Because following the different atmospheric pressures (warm, cold ...), perfumes do not have the same evaporation.

  • My perfume no longer smells!

Yes it does! But if you always wear the same thing every day, it is natural to get used to it and have the feeling that the fragrance is no longer efficient ... We also have the feeling that the fragrance is always better on other leathers! All of this is a natural reaction called anosmia.

The solution: have several fragrances and feel free to change them from time to time.
